Got a Question?

We’ve answered some of the most common questions we receive below; perhaps we’ve already answered yours?

“For if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
– Romans 14:8

“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
– Ephesians 6: 11-12

Laws in NY State prevent individuals from carrying firearms for protection and self-defense on any property designated a “sensitive location”1, with limited exceptions. One of those exceptions is a contracted Security Guard company with NY State certified security guards.

High Tower Security Services LLC was formed with the resolve of providing armed security specifically for places of worship or faith-based institutions. We seek to provide the highest-level of armed security and protection for places of Worship including, but not limited to, Messianic Synagogues, Christian Churches, Synagogues, places of faith-based education or ministries. Armed security has become a necessary function of protecting people inside the buildings of these institutions against armed intruders.

As first responders, Law enforcement, although a valuable and needed service, as the name implies, “respond” to threats after they have begun. An armed attacker is able to inflict much harm during the response time of law enforcement leaving worshipers or congregants vulnerable.

Well-trained armed security guards provide a deterrent and a “preventive” presence against armed attackers, also referred to as, active shooters. Armed security guards can prevent or delay an active shooter, give law enforcement the time to respond and eliminate the harm an active shooter can inflict. Armed security guards are the first line of defense!

Our primary goals are:

  • To establish a legal intermediary for faith-based institutions to comply with NY State laws. Faith-based institutions are struggling to provide legal, affordable security for people in their charge. As a result, they are at risk of being left vulnerable or held criminally or civilly liable if found to be in non-compliance with the law.
  • To be Watchmen and to provide a secure environment for those who chose to exercise their constitutional right of Freedom of Religion, faith-based education, or faith-based ministries that provide necessary spiritual healing, guidance and solutions to society’s ills.

We are the first line of defense, the shield against the darts and arrows of the enemy, the staff in the hand of the shepherd against the predator, against the wolf, against those who prey on the innocent, the defenseless, the non-violent.

It has been shown time and time again throughout history, that even those who do not take up the sword, can still die by the sword; by the hands of those who spread hate and violence, those who seek power and control over others, who want to destroy that which they do not comprehend because it doesn’t fit into their ideology.

This hate can be born out of a hate of God and anything Godly, to snuff it out or “…break off Their chains and cast away Their cords”, Psalm 2:3. Or, it can be perpetrated by some religions in the name of their god.
